A high level, “Economist Intelligence Unit” will be taken soon in the Ministry of Tourism in operation. This at the 37th Annual General Meeting of the “Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Mauritius” (AHRIM) was announced on the evening of the 24th 24th June 2010.
Tourism Minister described the new economic unit of work in his department as “the econometric analysis of tourism”. The high level “Economist Intelligence Unit is operated by a team of world-class professional and experienced in business and tourism.
The Economist Intelligence Unit is to play an important role in his department in achieving the government target. Their tactic is to take measures that make the tourism and leisure industry, a greater proportion of the population could be identified in the medium and long term. This device connects between tour operators, the Bank of Mauritius and the Ministry of Finance.

1) Most of our readers are familiar with the enormous success that Wal-Mart in the USA – When the company first came to Brazil and what were the original reasons for the choice here (as opposed to other large countries, in contrast)?
Wal-Mart arrived in Brazil in 1995 with the opening of our first Sam club Sao Caetano do Sul, in the metropolitan area of ??São Paulo. To be honest, I was not in Brazil at the time and you can open up any reasons for our decision, the Brazilian market.
